This privacy policy describes how the OpenSub mobile application (“the App”) handles information. The App is designed to help you track subscriptions on your device.
The App does not require you to create an account. We do not operate our own servers for storing your subscription data, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information you enter in the App (such as subscription names, prices, dates, notes, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage mechanisms.
If you enable iCloud-related features supported by the App, your data may be synced across your devices using Apple’s iCloud and related services (for example, CloudKit), subject to Apple’s privacy policy and your iCloud settings. We do not receive a copy of that data on our own systems.
If you choose to enable local notifications (for example, renewal reminders), the App schedules those on your device. Notification content is derived from data you already stored in the App.
When you use features that look up public app information from the App Store (for example, by providing an App Store link), the App may contact Apple’s iTunes Search API with identifiers needed to retrieve that public metadata. Those requests are subject to Apple’s terms and policies.
The App does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs to track you across apps or websites.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
